Rhynchospora corymbosa (Matamat) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Cerrado, Caatinga, Pampa, Pantanal, Mata Atlântica, Puerto Rico, Amazônia, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii.
