Rosa acicularis (Prickly Rose) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, and United States. They have red flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Colletes americanus, Eristalis stipator, Panurginus cressoniellus, and Tricolored Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
