Problepsis deliaria is a moth of the family Geometridae that can be found in Sri Lanka.[2]
The Problepsis deliaria wingspan is about 46 mm and the antennae of male is bipectinated, with stiff branches. With a simple apex and nearly pure white, the sides of its palpi and vertex of head are black. This moth has an abdomen and both forewings tinged with fuscous.
A large olive oval ocellus is found at the end of the cell, featuring a ring of raised silver scales on it, whereas greyish center, and two black specks below the center. Below the ocellus is a silver-ringed fulvous spot; a silver fascia found on inner margin. The hindwings contains an elongate oval fuscous mark on the discocellulars and below the cell, with a ring of silver scales on it.
Also, there is a silver fascia present on the inner margin. Both wings have a waved and curved fuscous postmedial band, along a more prominent maculate band beyond it, and a series of spots just inside the margin. A marginal fuscous line and a line through cilia can also be seen.[3]
