Trees or shrubs. Leaves opposite, imparipinnate. Inflorescence a large, terminal, many-flowered panicle. Calyx campanulate or tubular, irregularly 2-5-lobed. Corolla slightly zygomorphic, pinkish; tube funnel-shaped; lobes patent. Disk entire or 5-lobed. Ovary 2-locular. Capsule strongly linear-cylindric. Seeds winged.
