Chlamydodontid ciliates, tight ventral somatic kineties arch preorally to left so that anterior preoral kinetal arcs of all, right ventral somatic kineties continuous with more posterior parts of those kineties; body tapers at anterior end; usually 3 oral kineties (2 circumoral dikinetid files and 1 preoral dikinetid file that extends into anterior suture); centric heteromeric macronucleus.
