Phyllonorycter sorbicola is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from Japan (the islands of Hokkaido and Shikoku) and the Russian Far East.[1]
The larvae feed as leaf miners on Sorbus matsumurana, Sorbus commixta, Sorbus alnifolia, Prunus avium, Malus pumila and Malus asiatica.[1] The mine is ptychonomous and located on the lower surface of the leaf.[1]

Phyllonorycter sorbicola is een vlinder uit de familie van de mineermotten (Gracillariidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1963 door Kumata.[1]
