“Cryptocisus laevis n. sp. Figs. 25A-25L and 26A-2E

Description. 1.3 mm long. Antenna 1 with large segments with tuft of setae and two pointed smaller apical segments, one with lateral marginal fringe of setae. Antenna 2 elongate with long apical setae reaching caudally to pleotelson; basal segment of peduncle longer than wide. Coxal extensions with acute posterolateral, but without serrate teeth. Large toothed setae on inner margin of propodus and on apex of merus of each peraeopod. Pleopods biramus; pleopod 1 with four long setae on exopod, five on exopod; basis with two setae. Lateral margins of pleotelson with proximal notch, medial and apical scale. Uropods with exopod slightly longer than outer margin of basis; endopod longer than exopod; two long setae and one short seta on apex of each ramus. The species name laeuis, from the Latin, means smooth; the body of the species is smooth.

Type locality. 10-812: 64°45'S, 78°07’W; 64°45'S, 78°19'W; 570-1988 m. Holotype and four paratypes.
