Cercartetus nanus (Common Dormouse Phalanger) is a species of mammals in the family pygmy possums. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 96 months. Reproduction is viviparous.
