Lasiurus borealis (Eastern Red Bat) is a species of bats in the family Vespertilionidae. They are native to The Nearctic and The Neotropics. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 23.77 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
