Hemigalus derbyanus (Banded Palm Civet) is a species of mammals in the family viverrids. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months and can grow to 458.63 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on arboreal (locomotion) and running to move around.
