provided by EOL authors

Amolops longimanus, the Kambaiti sucker frog, is a poorly known ranid frog that has been recorded only once, in 1938. Its type locality, the small village of Kambaiti in upper Myanmar, is at an altitude of 2000 m asl., and very near the Chinese boarder. In his original description of this species, Andersson (1939), indicated that it is closely related to Amolops formosa (Frost 2016). Nothing is known about its population, ecology, or habitat (Frost 2016; van Dijk and Ohler 2004).
