Umbra pygmaea (Eastern Mudminnow, Striped Mudminnow) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family mudminnows. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 15 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on body/caudal fin propulsion to move around.
