Symphyotrichum puniceum (Purplestem Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, North America, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Eristalis flavipes, Pure Green Augochlora, and Yellow-collared Scape Moth.
