Brania pusilla is a species of marine annelid in the family Syllidae.[1] The original name for the species was Exogone pusilla.

The species has a cosmopolitan distribution.[2]

The body can be 1 mm to 2.5 mm long with 28 to 35 segments.[3] It is suggested that parthenogenesis is a normal condition in this species.[4] According to the Encyclopedia of Life the species is simultaneous hermaphroditic.[1]

Brania pusilla is een borstelworm uit de familie Syllidae. Het lichaam van de worm bestaat uit een kop, een cilindrisch, gesegmenteerd lichaam en een staartstukje. De kop bestaat uit een prostomium (gedeelte voor de mondopening) en een peristomium (gedeelte rond de mond) en draagt gepaarde aanhangsels (palpen, antennen en cirri).

Brania pusilla werd in 1851 voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Dujardin.
