Cream Spotted Cardinalfish

Description: Characterized by dark band behind eye; sides with cluster of large dark-edged white spots; base of soft dorsal and anal fins with large dark spot, outer portion of fins and caudal fin with smaller dark spots; lateral line scales 21-23 with additional 1-2 scales on caudal base; greatest depth of body 2.1-2.5 in SL (Ref. 90102).

Nocturnal species which occurs inshore (Ref. 7300). Inhabits trawling grounds. Mainly inhabits soft bottoms (Ref 90102).
