Encyonema silesiacum is a species of diatoms in the family Cymbellaceae. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Pará, GoiáS, Distrito Federal, and Rio De Janeiro. Dead Encyonema silesiacum form siliceous oozes.
