Small single or double tubes or mounds, 0.5-3 cm high, 1 cm wide, scattered in groups on substrate. Oscules apical with rounded edge, 2-3 m in diameter. Body squishy, elastic and velvety. Colour jet-black with violet tinge. Habitat: shallow sandy lagoon amongst seagrass beds. Distribution: SE Asia (Richmond, 1997).
