Mya arenaria (Soft Shelled Clam) is a species of mussels in the family Myidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to South Korea, Japan, North West Atlantic, and Canada. They are surficial modifiers. Individuals can grow to 77 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
