Laomedea flexuosa Alder, 1857 (Leptomedusae, Campanulariidae), colony hight about 3 cm, Dunstaffnage, Scotland. Laomedea flexuosa is a very common hydroid in the the lower intertidal of the north-eastern Atlantic. It has no medusa stage, the gonohores develop into sporosacs. The oblong gonothecae filled with sporosacs are visible on the left side of the colony.
