Acipenser transmontanus (White Sturgeon) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family sturgeons. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC and in cites appendix ii. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Nearctic. Individuals can grow to 610 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming to move around.
