Dysomma brevirostre (Batnose Eel) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family cutthroat eels. They are carnivores. Individuals can grow to 30 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is iteroparous and oviparous. They rely on anguilliform to move around.
