Hippocampus ingens (Giant Seahorse) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Syngnathidae. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to The Neotropics, Pacific Ocean, and The Nearctic. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 30 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (paternal care). They rely on swimming to move around.
