Balistes punctatus (Bluespotted Triggerfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family triggerfishes. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. Individuals can grow to 60 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
