Description: Characterized by semi translucent to silvery peppered body color with small dark dots overlaid with variable amount of orange dots and dashes; incomplete lateral line with 0-8 tubed scales; light organ with striated pattern; greatest depth of body 2.2-2.4 in SL (Ref. 90102).

Siphamia jebbi és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels apogònids.[4]

Descripció

  • Pot arribar a fer 2,5 cm de llargària màxima.[5][6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, associat als esculls i de clima tropical que viu entre 14 i 29 m de fondària a les aigües protegides de llacunes i badies.[5][7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Austràlia, Indonèsia,[8] Papua Nova Guinea[9] i Tonga.[10][11]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
