Osteobrama vigorsii is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Osteobrama. It is known to occur in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Orissa in the drainage systems of the Krishna, Godavari and Mahanadi. It is found in fast flowing streams and rivers as well as reservoirs. It attains a total length of 30 cm and its prey is smaller fish and insects.^[1]

Osteobrama vigorsii is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van karpers (Cyprinidae).^[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1839 door Sykes.

De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2011. De omvang van de populatie is volgens de IUCN stabiel.^[1]

維氏骨鯿（学名：Osteobrama vigorsii）为輻鰭魚綱鯉形目鲤科的其中一種，分布於亞洲印度，體長可30公分，棲息在流速快、水質清澈的溪流，可作為食用魚。
