Grindelia hirsutula (Hairy Gumweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and The Americas. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by California Hairstreak, Phyciodes mylitta, Vosnesensky Bumble Bee, and Tharsalea xanthoides.
