Dahlia pinnata (Pinnate Dahlia) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lon melane, Common carder bumblebee, Beet webworm moth, and Ancistrocerus gazella. Individuals can grow to 0.8 m.
