Liatris scariosa (Devil's Bite) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Mournful Long-horned Beetle, Zethus spinipes, and Two-banded Cellophane-cuckoo Bee.
