Distribution: E Cuba Anolis centralis centralis: northeastern Camagüey Province to western Holguin Province; also apparently the Rio Cauto basin and perhaps the Peninsula de Banes.
Type locality: Victoria de las Tunas, Las Tunas Province, Cuba. Anolis centralis litoralis (HOLOTYPE IZ 3472): southeastern coast from Santiago de Cuba to Imias and Cajobabo; also Sierra Maestra and Sierra del Cobre.
Type locality: near Versalles, Santiago de Cuba, Oriente province, Cuba.
