They are native to Sergipe, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Caatinga, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, Pará, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Amapá, Piauí, Cerrado, Bahia, Pantanal, Espirito Santo, Roraima, Paraná, Maranhao, Pampa, GoiáS, Alagoas, Tocantins, Ceará, Acre (Brazil), RondôNia, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, and Rio Grande Do Sul. Flowers are visited by Common Pierrot, Euodynerus castigatus, Cassius Blue, and Horace's Duskywing.
