Ranunculus flammula (Lesser Spearwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They are native to Canada, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Western North America, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Parasyrphus punctulatus, Many-tufted Sedgesitter, Common Pollen Beetle, and Dusky-banded Forest Fly. Individuals can grow to 1.5 feet.
