Linepithema humile (Argentine Ant) is a species of Hymenoptera in the family ants. They are native to Brazil, Paraguay, The Neotropics, Argentina, and Uruguay. They visit flowers of Nipomo Mesa lupine, Achyrocline satureoides, Trevoa quinquenervia, and Parish's goldeneye. They are diurnal omnivores. They have parental care (female provides care).
