Ruellia brevifolia (Tropical Wild Petunia) is a species of perennial herb in the family Acanthaceae. They are native to SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, RondôNia, Amazônia, and Minas Gerais. Flowers are visited by Planalto Hermit, Fork-tailed Woodnymph, Dusky-throated Hermit, and Reddish Hermit.
