Duranta erecta (Golden Dew Drop) is a species of shrub in the family Verbenaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Neotropics, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and US Minor Outlying Islands. They have simple, broad leaves, magenta flowers, and drupes. Flowers are visited by Thoas Swallowtail, Monarch, Papilio rumiko, and Euploea core. Individuals can grow to 3 m.
