Dittrichia viscosa (Strong Smelling Inula) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by drone fly, meadow brown, small white, and Stictopleurus punctatonervosus. Individuals can grow to 0.65 m.
