Tragopogon porrifolius (Salsify) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have purple flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed Mining Bee, Lasioglossum cristula donatum, Ligated Furrow Bee, and Cliff Mining Bee. Individuals can grow to 4.5 feet.
