Shrub or small tree. Leaves opposite, elliptic, up to 6.5 × 3 cm, slightly leathery with 5-7 pairs of lateral veins and visible net-veining on both surfaces; domatia with or without hairs, conspicuous. Flowers 1-2 cm in diameter, white, 1 or 2 together, axillary. Fruit ellipsoid, c. 10 × 7 mm, orange-yellow when ripe.
