Pallenis spinosa (Spiny Golden Star) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Exochomus nigromaculatus, Stenopterus rufus, 7-spot ladybird, and Lomatia sabaea. Individuals can grow to 0.3 m.
