Cyathea (Treefern) is a genus of shrub in the family scaly tree ferns. They are native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have pinnate leaves. Individuals can grow to 16 m. They have alternation of generations.
