Acyclania schadei Schaus
Acyclania schadei Schaus, 1927, p. 76.
Forewing 23.0 mm. Head black, speckled with orange-white except for orange tuft above labrum. Thorax black, speckled with orange-white. Forewing greyish brown, with black and yellowish white markings. Hindwing greyish brown, with yellowish white markings. Abdomen dark greyish brown, speckeld with yellowish white posteriorly, and with orange tail fringe and orange anterolateral patch on each side of segment 1; ventral surface dark greyish brown, sparsely speckled with yellowish white posteriorly except for orange tail tuft and orange anteromedial area on segment 2.
A single male type (USNM 33197) from Molinasque, Paraguay, is designated in the original description.
