Forewing 16.5 mm. Front of head greyish orange, vertex white. Thorax mostly white (worn posteriorly). Forewing greyish orange-white and yellowish white. Hindwing white and greyish orange. Segments 1–6 of abdomen orange-yellow dorsally; 1–6 with black medial patch; 2–6 with black lateral patch on each side; segment 7 orange-yellow anteriorly, with black medial patch, yellowish white posteriorly; segment 8 yellowish-white. Ventral surface of abdomen yellowish white. Ventral surface of abdomen yellowish white.
A single female type (USNM 24919) from Trinidad, Paraguay, is designated in the original description.
