Distimake aegyptius (Hairy Woodrose) is a species of perennial herb in the family Convolvulaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Ceará, Amapá, Amazônia, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Puerto Rico, Pará, GoiáS, Tocantins, ParaíBa, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, Distrito Federal, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio Grande Do Norte, Alagoas, Piauí, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, RondôNia, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, SãO Paulo, Caatinga, Pernambuco, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 6 m.
