Pirenella alata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Potamididae.^[1]^[2] It also lives in brackish water.

This species occurs in the Philippines, Myanmar, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.^[2]
