Chimaeridris is a small genus of ants in the subfamily Myrmicinae.[2] The genus contains two species known from tropical Asia. Their unique hook-shaped mandibles and similar appearance to Pheidole minor workers raises the possibility that the genus is a slave-maker of Pheidole ants or a specialized predator.[3]

Chimaeridris Wilson, 1989 — род муравьёв (Formicidae) из подсемейства Myrmicinae.
Тропическая Азия: Индонезия (Сулавеси) и Восточная Малайзия (Сабах, на острове Калимантан).[1]
Обладают крючковидно изогнутыми мандибулами, уникальным среди всех мирмицин признаком, более похожими на челюсти кочевых муравьёв рода Cheliomyrmex. Вероятно, рабовладельцы или специализированные хищники.[1]
2 вида. Род относится к трибе Pheidolini.
