Qualea grandiflora Mart.

Qualea grandiflora is a species of shrub in the family Vochysiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Distrito Federal, Pará, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, Caatinga, Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, South America, Piauí, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Ceará, RondôNia, GoiáS, Bahia, Cerrado, and Mato Grosso. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 5 m.
