It is a richly branched decumbent plant. Leaves are palmately lobed, with sharply and acutely double-toothed margins, cordate base. Flowers are with bright yellow corolla, with deep purple throat. The fruit is a dehiscent capsule by an operculum slightly distal to middle and the seeds are reniform or discoid, and minutely pitted.
