Ligustrum ovalifolium (California Privet) is a species of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They have white flowers and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Didea fasciata, meadow brown, Honey bee, and Lasiommata megera. Individuals can grow to 16 feet.
