Axonopus suffultus (Carpet Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amazônia, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, Afrotropics, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Tocantins, Paraná, Mato Grosso Do Sul, GoiáS, and Santa Catarina. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.32 m.
