Lythrum alatum (Winged Lythrum) is a species of perennial herb in the family Lythraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Oligosarcus oligolepis, Dielis dorsata, Ectemnius trifasciatus, and small white.
