Garra fasciacauda Fowler 1937

Has a relatively narrow midlateral stripe (width about 1-1.5 scale rows); a plain dorsal fin; a distinct black submarginal stripe along each caudal-fin lobe (Ref. 27732); with rostral barbels only; small mental disk, shorter than wide (Ref. 12693).

Inhabits rocky bottoms in fast flowing water of all sizes of rivers and streams. Feeds on periphyton, phytoplankton and some insects (Ref. 12693).

Garra fasciacauda is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Garra from the Chao Praya, Mae Klong and Mekong rivers in south-east Asia.
